A native of Madrid, Helio Vega began in motion graphics as a self-taught designer and audiovisual artist. His professional career began its evolution at Zapping advertising agency and at the same time, he was completing Arts & Graphic Design studies, and eventually landed him international experience in Canada at Front and Big Studios.
Helio has always recognized that his passion for this work comes form within. As he says, "My primary goal is to communicate the very essence of what I feel." His work is not simply animated graphics and visuals; it is the transmission of an emotional concept through layers of movement, sound and timing.
Currently, Helio is freelancing in Madrid for such studios as Digital Kitchen, Gearshift Studios and Jellyfish, as well as clients including Canal+, Samsung, Discovery, Domestika, Microsoft and Mtv.
